11 Nights 12 Days

Day 1 Guwahati – Shillong:
Morning you will be picked up from the hotel and drive to Shillong on the way enjoy the Ariel view of the Umiam Lake. On reaching Shillong visit Shillong Cathedral Church and Don Bosco Museum where you can get a glimpse of culture and lifestyle of the indigenous people of Northeast. Later you can drive to Police area of Shillong, here you can visit the Wards Lake, Hydri Park and enjoy street shopping with your loved ones later check in to the hotel. Overnight, stay in Shillong.

Day 2 Shillong – Dawki – Mawlynnong – Shillong:
After breakfast visit Dawki, a small town in West Jaintia Hills District of Meghalaya, here you can enjoy boat ride on Tamabil River, locally known as Umngot which is shared by India and Bangladesh. Later visit the Indo Bangladesh border and drive to Mawlynnong and visit Asia’s cleanest village, here you can enjoy a short trek to reach the Single Decker Root Bridge. You can also see the Balancing Rock. Later drive back to Shillong. Enjoy the evening in leisure. Overnight, stay in Shillong.

Day 3 Shillong – Bhalukpong:
After breakfast check out from the hotel and drive to Bhalukpong. On the way sightseeing. Overnight, stay in Bhalukpong.

Day 4 Bhalukpong – Dirang:
After early breakfast check out from the hotel and drive to Dirang. On reaching Dirang visit the Kalchakra Gompa and the Kiwi Gardens. Overnight, stay in Dirang.

Day 5  Dirang – Tawang:
After breakfast in your hotel drive to Tawang en-route visit the Yak Breeding Center. On the way visit Sela Pass which is 13700 ft above sea level, you can also visit Jaswantgarh which was famously known as Jaswantgarh War Memorial. It was built in honor and bravery of late Jaswant Singh Rawat who was an Indian rifleman of 4th Garhwal Rifles, where he single handedly fought against the Chinese army. Later visit the Nuranang Water Falls. On reaching Tawang check into the hotel. Overnight, stay in Tawang.

Day 6 Tawang Local Sightseeing:
After breakfast you can visit Tawang Monastery (Garden Namgyel Lhatse) and Urgelling Monastery. Later visit Tawang Crafts Center and later in the evening visit Tawang War Memorial where you can enjoy the light and sound show. Overnight, stay in Tawang.

Day 7 Full Day Bumla Pass, Ptso & Madhuri Lake Tour:
After breakfast visit PTSO Lake, Bumla Pass (Indo-China Border), Sangetsar Lake (Madhuri Lake). For this you need to hire a local vehicle and obtain a special in Tawang for which will cost you INR 5000/-. Overnight, stay in Tawang.

Day 8 Tawang – Bomdila:
After breakfast check out from the hotel and drive to Bomdila. On reaching Bomdila if time permits visit the Bomdila Monastery. Night, stay in Bomdila.

Day 9 Bomdila – Kaziranga:
On arrival you will be picked up from the Guwahati Airport/Railway Station and transfer to Kaziranga. On the way you can halt in nearby viewpoints and enjoy animal sightseeing. On reaching Kaziranga rest and relax in your hotel Overnight, stay in Kaziranga.

Day 10 Kaziranga:
Early morning you can enjoy Elephant Safari. Post safari enjoy breakfast in your hotel and visit nearby tea estate and Kaziranga National Orchid and Biodiversity Park. Post lunch you can enjoy Jeep Safari. Evening free for leisure. Overnight, stay in Kaziranga.

Day 11 Kaziranga – Guwahati:
After early breakfast drive to Guwahati. On reaching Guwahati visit the Basistha Temple and Kalashetra Temple where Assamese culture and lifestyle is preserved.  Evening you can rest or relax in your hotel. Overnight, stay in Guwahati.

Day 12 Guwahati Airport / Railway Station Drop:
After breakfast check out from the hotel and visit Kamakhya Temple. To visit Kamakhya Temple you can obtain a special pass to avoid waiting in the queue for the Darshan. Later if time permits charter a ferry to the peacock island and visit the Umananda Temple. Later you will be dropped off at the Guwahati Airport/Railway Station to catch your late evening flight for your onward journey.
