ITINERARY

Day 1 Guwahati- Shillong:
On arrival you will be picked up from the Guwahati Airport/Railway Station and drive to Shillong. En-route visit the famous Umiam Lake. On reaching Shillong if time permits you can drive to Police area of Shillong and enjoy street shopping with your loved ones. Overnight, stay in Shillong.

Day 2 Shillong – Dawki – Mawlynnong – Shillong:
After breakfast visit Dawki, a small town in West Jaintia Hills District of Meghalaya, here you can enjoy boat ride on Tamabil River, locally known as Umngot which is shared by India and Bangladesh. Later visit the Indo Bangladesh border and drive to Mawlynnong and visit Asia’s cleanest village, here you can enjoy a short trek to reach the Single Decker Root Bridge. You can also see the Balancing Rock. Later drive back to Shillong. Enjoy the evening in leisure. Overnight, stay in Shillong.

Day 3 Shillong – Cherrapunjee-Shillong:
After breakfast transfer to Cherrapunjee. En-route visit Mawkdok Dympep Valley where you can zip line across the valley. On reaching Cherrapunjee visit Nohkalikai Falls, Seven Sister Falls Mawsmai Cave and Ramakrishna Ashram. Later drive back to Shillong. Overnight, stay in Shillong.

Day 4 Shillong – Kaziranga:
After breakfast transfer to Kaziranga. On the way you can halt in nearby viewpoints and enjoy animal sightseeing. On reaching Kaziranga rest and relax in your hotel Overnight, stay in Kaziranga.

Day 5 Kaziranga – Guwahati:
Early morning you can enjoy Elephant Safari. Post safari enjoy breakfast in your hotel and visit nearby tea estate and Kaziranga National Orchid and Biodiversity Park. Post breakfast you can enjoy Jeep Safari and drive to Guwahati. On reaching Guwahati Evening you can rest or relax in your hotel. Overnight, stay in Guwahati.

Day 6 Guwahati Airport/Railway Station Drop:
After breakfast you will be dropped off at the Guwahati Airport/Railway Station for your onward journey.

Note: Kaziranga National Park remains open from 1st week of November till the last week of April. Also, the opening and closing of the park depends on the forest department of Assam.
